You when you adopt a new dog, most likely, the first two things you will think of for purchase will be food and toys. You know that your new companion will need food and water to survive. You also know that you want him to be happy, so you will want to provide fun and entertaining toys for him to enjoy.
Not all dog toys are the same, however. You will need to choose options that are designed for the size and age of your dog for his own safety. You will also want to choose toys that will provide him exercise and entertainment. In fact, there are a few categories of toys, and you will want to choose items from each.
Play toys are often the most considered category. These are items that are made sheerly for your furry friend’s entertainment. These toys can include stuffed animals that are designed for dogs, squeaky toys, and chew items. The chew toys actually serve two purposes: entertaining your dog and often helping with his dental hygiene.
