You just gotta love balls. Everyone does. There are so many things you can do with balls. You can run after them if a human throws them. You can chase them if you toss them yourself. Although not too far. I can only get a distance of about three feet, maybe 6 if it rolls. Still, it's fun. You can tease another dog with them and say "ha ha now *I* have the ball and you don't". You can hide it in the yard and watch your human look for it for a long time, all the while only *you* know where it is. Sometimes if they don't find it they will buy you a new one and then you can surprise them with the old one! You can push them with your nose as far under a couch or chair as you can get it and then bark at them until your human gets down on their hands and knees and uses a tool to get it out. (One of my personal favorites.) Then of course, once they get all comfortable in their chair, do it again! You can hide a ball under a pine tree and get pine sap on your human when they go to get it. (Another favorite.) You can toss your ball in a lake or pool and then have an excuse to go swimming. And the big one----you can drop it in the toilet!! Humans think it's gross. I don't see why. I kind of like having a nice clean ball.
But in my opinion there is one ball that stands out above all others. The one ball that is my "go to" toy. The one ball that I'll dig through my toy box for until I find it. The one ball I must have because it is....... magic! This ball is the Orbee Glow Ball. Do you know why they call it that? IT GLOWS IN THE DARK!!!! I can play fetch with my humans after the sun goes down! And guess who sells it? http://www.petworldsupply.com/ of course! So far I have not lost the two of these I have. But at least my human knows where to order another one. In fact she has bookmarked the link directly to this ball at http://www.petworldsupply.com/. I saw her put it under "favorites". It's http://store.petworldsupply.com/glow-ball-p711.aspx. My birthday is coming up in July. A dog can hope.
